1) Who we are

Vuleka Tech (Pty) Ltd (“Vuleka Tech”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides installation, repairs, and maintenance for electrical, satellite, and security systems to residential, commercial, industrial, and public sector clients.

2) Acceptance of these terms

By requesting a quote, booking a call-out, or using our website/services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3) Services & scope

• We provide: electrical services; DSTV/Openview/StarSat installations and repairs; electric fences; alarm systems; CCTV cameras; gate and garage door motors (installations and maintenance).

• Site conditions may affect feasibility, pricing, and timelines. We may recommend alternatives where required for safety/compliance.

4) Quotes, pricing & payment

• Quotes are free unless otherwise stated and are valid for [X] days.

• Prices exclude unforeseen remedial work, access equipment, or additional materials not reasonably identifiable during remote quoting.

• Payment terms: [e.g., 60% deposit on acceptance; balance on completion] unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Late payments may accrue interest at the maximum lawful rate.

5) Appointments & access

• You must ensure safe access to the site, availability of required permissions, and presence of an authorised adult to accept/confirm works.

• Missed or late-cancelled appointments (less than [24] hours’ notice) may incur a call-out fee.

6) Health, safety & compliance

• We work to applicable South African standards and regulations (e.g., SANS).

• We may refuse or suspend work if conditions are unsafe or non-compliant.

7) Materials, equipment & warranties

• New materials carry the manufacturer’s warranty; proof of purchase and proper use/maintenance are required.

• Our workmanship warranty: [e.g., 6–12 months] from completion, excluding misuse, third-party interference, power surges, lightning, floods, or vandalism.

• Used or client-supplied equipment is installed “as is” with no warranty from us unless agreed in writing.

8) Third-party services

• Satellite services (e.g., MultiChoice/DSTV, Openview, StarSat) and telecom/ISP services are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for their service availability, coverage, or policy changes.

9) Client responsibilities

• Provide accurate information, clear access, and timely decisions.

• Obtain and maintain any required approvals/permissions (e.g., body corporate, landlord, municipal).

10) Cancellations & variations

• You may cancel or reschedule with [24–48 hours] notice.

• Variations requested after work begins may affect price and timeline; we’ll confirm revised scope and costs before proceeding.

11) Website & intellectual property

• All website content, logos, and documentation are our IP or used under licence. You may not copy, modify, or distribute without permission.

• Client logos/testimonials may be displayed as portfolio items unless you opt out in writing.

12) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability arising from any service is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service.

13) Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond our reasonable control (e.g., load-shedding, extreme weather, strikes, supply chain disruptions).

14) Privacy

We handle personal information under our Privacy Policy (POPIA-aligned). By using our services, you consent to such processing.

15) Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes should first be raised with us at info@vulekatech.co.za for resolution in good faith.

16) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” indicates the latest version. Continued use of our services means you accept the changes.
